$15 Million Sun-Drop Diamond:

Today an auction will be held for the selling of the prestigious Sun-Drop Diamond. It is a 110-carat
pear-shaped jewel. It is described to be the largest of kind. The Sun-Drop Diamond was discovered in South Africa in 2010 and wowed visitors to London’s Natural History Museum.

After its discovery the gem was cut in New York by US diamond company Cora International.
Auction house Sotheby’s, will auction the gem in Geneva, Switzerland and estimate its value at
$11-15 Million.
